Welcome to my online journal, where I ramble about my art making process. I include lots of pictures. I like pictures better than words.
Feel free to leave comments and ask questions. Maybe you can help me figure out what it all means.
Cara Walz received her BFA in painting from the University of Kansas in 1990 and her MFA in performance from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1995.
Cara is an insomniac, and she prefers small wonders to grand plans. She has made it her life's work to cure the infection that causes perfectly sane people to become obsessed with spectacle.
She draws inspiration from the abundance of little things she encounters every day, including but not limited to: product packaging, books, diagrams, illustrations, movies, 3-second blips of television, Google image searches, and the urban landscape.
I’m not sure what to make of it but it is interesting
LOVE LOVE LOVE!
